- Before applying the Double Sided Tape, make sure that both surfaces that you are to bond are free from dust and lint. Wipe the surfaces off with a wet cloth then with a dry one.
- Since various finishes react differently to many types of adhesive substance, we highly recommend to test out a short strip of the tape to a small corner first to see and verify how it will react to the adhesive.
- It would be best to maximize the surface area of application for the tape strips by using longer and more pieces.
- Also, make sure to apply some pressure to both surfaces after adhering the tape for a stronger initial bonding strength. Squeegee the area to get rid of any air bubbles that may exist between it and the surface.
