1. Clean the surfaces where you would be installing the tape. Lint, dirt, and dust can significantly lessen the bonding strength of adhesives.

3. Position the tape, apply the tape on the surface, with the other end of the tape still spooled on the roll.
4. Cut the tape, making sure that you apply tension on the strip by partially pulling the roll. The tension will make the tape easier to cut.
5. To separate the adhesive liner easily, you can use any flat tipped object like a card, knife's edge or your fingernail to create an initial gap between the liner and the tape.
6. Applying more strips by repeating steps 2-5.
Peeling the Adhesive Liner
If you are having troubles in separating the adhesive liner from the foam seal tape, then you could use any flat tipped object, like your nail or a thin card to create an initially small gap which can be fully peeled to release the liner. Also, to improve the bonding strength, it is recommended to apply as much tape as possible as the surface area allows.
Improving the Bonding Strength
1. You can increase the bonding strength of the Foam Sealing Tape by pressing it towards the surface. Make sure to press it firmly through your hands or palm. Squeegee any air bubbles or gaps that may exist between the surface and the tape.
2. If you have a hair dryer or a heat gun, you can also heat the adhesive using warm air exhaust. Heating the adhesive upon installation will temper it and further increase the adhesive's strength.
3. Avoid touching the adhesive during installation as oils and moisture can severely weaken the adhesive.
Removing the Adhesive
The Foam Sealing Tape's adhesive is residue-free. However, here are some tips on adhesive removal as a precautionary measure:
1. partially melting the adhesive using the warm air exhaust of a hair dryer. After partially melting the adhesive, then you can simply wipe off the adhesive residue.
