- Measure the area of application for the Weather Sealing Tape.
- Clean the surface thoroughly with a soap or alcohol solution. Make sure that the surface is dry and free of dust or dirt before installing the tape.
IF YOU HAVE A WEATHER-SEALING FILM:
3A) You may use the weather sealing film for the open window, unravel the weather sealing film and install it slowly on the whole length of the window.
3B) Gradually seal the sides of the weather-sealing film through the weather-sealing tape. Install the weather-sealing tape as you would with any typical transparent tape.
FOR SEALING GAPS IN WINDOWS:
3C) If you are using weather sealing tape to seal off gaps on AC units and windows without a weather sealing film, then simply install the tape on the edges of the gap, sealing it along the way.
4. Conform the tape with the surface’s contours and curves. Press against the surface and squeegee any gaps and the surface. You can use a card or a roller pin to apply pressure against the surface.
5. Apply additional strips as needed based on the surface and the size of the gap that is to be sealed.
